By bike

Col du Festre, Col du Noyer, Col de Rioupes, so many spots that attract a good number of cyclists every year. As soon as the snow melts, riding in Le Dévoluy is synonymous with uncrowded routes on almost perfect asphalt roads.
A must: the tour of Dévoluy: a route that will take you from the sources of Gillardes, to Champsaur, passing of course through the Noyer pass.

A must-have

The Dévoluy tour

The Dévoluy tour is mostly synonymous with the tour of the Faraut mountain. From the Noyer pass, passing through the villages of Saint Etienne en Dévoluy and Saint Disdier, the route will then guide you to the belvedere of the Lac du Sautet and into Le Champsaur.
At the counter: 54 km for 1,250 meters of elevation gain. Several road markers will indicate your progress.
Few shops or restaurants possible on the route, be prepared!!

Focus on

The Noyer Pass

The reputation of the Col du Noyer and its 1,664 meters between Le Dévoluy and the neighboring Champsaur valley is no longer to be made: 7.5 kilometers for more than 600 meters of positive vertical drop, an average slope at 8.21% and a maximum slope at 14.5%.
Borrowed by the Tour de France in 2010, the Noyer pass and its refuge are one of the 3 gates to the massif, open only on good days. Its viewpoint and its last turns alone are worth the detour.

Don’t miss:every second Wednesday in August, the Col du Noyer is reserved for cyclists, from 9am to noon, as part of the departmental operation of cols réservés!
