Driving a horse and cart sleddogs

Now’s the time to discover new winter experiences, away from the groomed slopes. What could be better than a walk through the forest or across a pristine plateau in the company of man’s best friend? Or rather, in the company of about twenty of them… Set off on a sled dog adventure.

Musher for the duration of a walk

In the ski area, at the summit of Les Fontettes, you’ll meet the dog team, who are bursting with excitement at the thought of racing through the snow, greeting you with a joyful chorus of barking. Laureen and Loane, the mushers from Traîneaux du Dévoluy, will start by introducing you to the dogs. You’ll then enjoy an unforgettable moment of bonding with them, surrounded by nature.
There are several options available for a tailor-made adventure: take the passenger seat to enjoy the scenery, or the musher’s seat for a unique experience. Set off either by day or by moonlight, equipped with lights.

Take orders

So, at the helm of your own sledge, you’ll set off along the snow-covered trails of the Dévoluy, amongst fir and larch trees: the best way to experience the thrill of gliding through the snow and the close bond between a musher and their canine companions.

Laureen and Inès will teach you all the techniques for driving a sledge.
