Description
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Musique en Dévoluy festival, a special program centered on Mère Église awaits you:
Starting at 3:00 p.m.:
Exhibition: Inside Mère Église, you can view a photo exhibition showcasing the history, architecture, and restoration work on the monument, as well as a retrospective of several concerts.
Afternoon performances, alternating (in the field across from Mère Église):
- The “Fart’feulu” troupe will present a street performance featuring stilt walkers and jugglers.
- The Tetrad’lyre association will introduce you to traditional dances from the Dauphiné region.
- The Dévoluy Parish Choir will perform songs.
At 8:30 p.m.:
“Bab and the Cats,” a musical and interactive show for the whole family
Around 10:00 p.m.:
Sound and light show: Mère Église will be illuminated by a thousand lights in a sound and light show created by the “Oneshot” company.
Practical Information:
- Parking is required at the designated lot in Saint Disdier, across from La Neyrette. Vehicles are prohibited in the vicinity of Mère Église.
- Free shuttle buses to Mère Église run every 30 minutes from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- You can bring a picnic or enjoy the two food trucks on site, as well as a refreshment stand run by the association La Croisée des Drailles.
- There are no water fountains on site; be sure to bring plenty of water.
- Wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing for the evening.
