- Can I fly my hobby drone?
Do you own a recreational drone and want to make a film of your holiday with aerial images of Dévoluy?
The operation of unmanned aircraft is covered by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 of 24 May 2019 on rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aircraft. This regulation has been applicable since 31 December 2020.Pending the availability of the above-mentioned training courses and until 1 January 2023, the leisure training courses available on the Fox Alpha Tango website or from the federations (FFAM and UFOLEP) allow you to operate in open sub-categories A1 and A3.
Note: remote pilots operating drones weighing less than 250g in these sub-categories are not required to take this training course. They must, however, familiarise themselves with the user manual for their aircraft supplied by the manufacturer.
> It is therefore the responsibility of the owner of a remotely piloted aircraft to find out about the legislation in force before flying their drone.
Here are the links to the institutional sites regulating the operation of drones in the so-called open category (for recreational drones):
Ministry of Ecological Transition website ;
Géopartail map of prohibited or regulated flight zones;
Alpha Tango portal for registering your drone;Finally, for your information, the Bure plateau is covered by an Arrêté de Protection de Biotope (Biotope Protection Order) and is therefore regulated. For any flight over the plateau de Bure, a request for authorisation is compulsory.
