As usual, the route will be wild and technical. Skiers will of course visit the Bure plateau and its iconic antennas, but also the pristine chourums and valleys of the massif. Registration will open in December 2025.

La Grande Trace Winter will host the French Individual Ski Mountaineering Championships (U16/U18, U20, and senior categories).

Originally scheduled to take place in Arêches-Beaufort on January 11, the French Championships have been postponed due to unfavorable weather and snow conditions. They will now be held during La Grande Trace Winter.
