It is an institution, the oldest French ski mountaineering race.
La Grande Trace is held one year at the start of Dévoluy and one year at the start of La Jarjatte.
A team or individual race, it is part of the great international ski mountaineering races and brings together the best athletes in the discipline.
It is meant to be authentic and offers wild and technical routes. The chourums, natural caves of Dévoluy are an integral part of the routes.
See you on February 12, 2023, for this new edition of La Grande Trace with a brand new course, between Obiou and Grand Ferrand and a departure near the village of Saint Disdier!
It will be French Championship by team U23, senior and master.

For the first time, the courses will take the entrants between the Grand Ferrand and the Obiou: the wild valleys of the Mas and Truchières will be used, the Tête de Lapras (and its 2,584m) will act as a mid-course highlight while the tête d’Oriol will make up a second determining point in the race.
