Accommodation

All accommodation (hotels, tourist residences, gîtes and chalets, private hirers) undertake to apply the sanitary protocol in force (regular disinfection of common areas, disinfection between 2 bookings, provision of hydro-alcoholic gel for clients, direction of circulation).
As the frequency of cleaning has increased, check-in and check-out times may be slightly longer than usual, particularly during the holiday period.
  • What to do while your snow nest is getting prepared to host you in accordance with health regulations?
While you’re at it, why don’t you go for a stroll through the resort or the villages, or visit one of our Tourist Information Centres to become familiar with all the activities and events offered during your stay?
  • What is your refund policy?
We invite you to contact our professional accommodation partners in order to know their policy of refunding your stay in case of new governmental directives (lockdown, curfew, ...).
  • What are the sanitary rules in force for spa users?
You will be required to have a sanitary pass to access the spa and wellness areas.
To find out how they are received, we invite you to contact your accommodation provider directly.

Lift passes

Le Dévoluy ski area was the first in France to get the AFNOR certification, as early as June 2020.

This checking process of COVID-19 health measures relies on a standard that was established from the best practices available regarding the prevention of the virus spread risk.
  • Can my lift passes be cancelled free of charge?
Dévoluy Ski Développement is committed to refunding your lift passes up until your first day of skiing, provided the cancellation is due to government restrictions (movement restriction, lockdown, positive test).
Regarding the NO LIMIT lift passes, the refund will be possible on a pro rata basis of the initially planned opening dates (i.e. from 11 December 2021 to 18 April 2022)

Shops and catering

It is compulsory to wear a mask in shops and restaurants, and the control of the health pass in restaurants is effective in the Hautes-Alpes department.
Nevertheless, you can continue to enjoy the good food of our restaurant owners in your studio, chalet or flat, thanks to the takeaway and/or home delivery service offered by our partners. Just ask your favourite restaurant owner if they offer this service !
  • What about a raclette box ?
A complete set made with love for your raclette parties in your holiday chalet! The set includes already cooked potatoes, charcuterie, and of course, raclette cheese! If there is no device in your accommodation, remember that some shops and restaurants may leave one at your disposal.
  • Click and collect
Avoid queuing and limit risks of contact. Remember to order online or by phone, and redeem your order from the shop when it’s ready.
While you’re at it, discover our local products: cow’s or sheep’s milk cheese, Dévoluy lamb, herbal tea and essential oils made with wild plants, 100% merino wool.

Our shopkeepers welcome you, always with the concern of barrier gestures: compulsory wearing of masks, limitation of the number of people in the establishment, hydro-alcoholic gel available at the entrance.

Childcare

You were expecting spending some quality time for yourself, chilling, without Oliver and Rosie under your feet every 5 minutes. But that was before coronavirus came along…

Don’t worry: nurseries remain open for your kids (aged 6 and under), just like ski lessons keep on running.
The same rules apply as those in use at school: temperature is taken in the morning, a kid showing signs of fever or sore throat should not be brought in.
While your children are welcomed in accordance with current health measures, we make sure the quality service we offer them remains our top priority.
Your job as a parent is as important as professionals’ regarding health regulations and recommendations. We’re counting on you!
  • Need baby gear?
You’d like to rent a pushchair or travel cot? Don’t worry: our rental outlets apply the same enhanced cleaning protocols for baby gear.
Did you know this? You can also rent a Nordic pushchair, so you can take a walk with your baby in the great outdoors, following the footpaths of the Nordic area!
