Accommodation

Every accommodation is from now on committing to implementing one-way foot-traffic and signage providing guidance. Cleaning frequency has been increased, which may result in slightly longer check-in and check-out periods, more specifically during school holidays.
  • What to do while your snow nest is getting prepared to host you in accordance with health regulations?
While you’re at it, why don’t you go for a stroll through the resort or the villages, or visit one of our Tourist Information Centres to become familiar with all the activities and events offered during your stay?
  • What is your refund policy?
All of our accommodation providers do apply a refund policy, in case cancellation is due to a new government-ordained lockdown.
  • What about booking your accommodation online from now on?
- Don’t hesitate to contact us or ask your accommodation provider directly about the cancellation policy for your stay.
- By booking your accommodation online on our site, you’ll get free admin fees!

Lift passes

Le Dévoluy ski area was the first in France to get the AFNOR certification, as early as June 2020.

This checking process of COVID-19 health measures relies on a standard that was established from the best practices available regarding the prevention of the virus spread risk.
  • Can my lift passes be cancelled free of charge?
Dévoluy Ski Développement is committed to refunding your lift passes up until your first day of skiing, provided the cancellation is due to government restrictions (movement restriction, lockdown, positive test).
Regarding the NO LIMIT lift passes, the refund will be possible on a pro rata basis of the initially planned opening dates (i.e. from 12 December 2020 to 11 April 2021)

  • Think about buying your lift passes online to limit contacts and thus prevent queuing at the retail outlets, and get exclusive web prices!
  • Ski in peace with the new adjustments arranged for this winter:
- Are you an early bird? Well, good for you: the lifts will be open as early as 8:30am (instead of 9:30) during school holidays. The deserted slopes will be all yours early in the morning!
- Are you more of a worrywart who’d rather avoid chairlifts? Discover the new platter lift pass!

Equipment hire

For you to enjoy the long-sought peace during your holidays in Le Dévoluy, our rental outlets are committed to assuring that the equipment at your disposal will be perfectly sanitized.
The cleaning standards already in place are now enhanced. Most ski rental outlets are endowed with specific equipment for reinforced cleaning.
  • Some rental shops also offer a pick-up service:
You can book your equipment then pick it up at the shop, with the possibility to try it on or not. You’ll get a text message when you’re the next customer, thanks to a virtual line.
Don’t forget to get in touch with our rental outlets prior to booking to learn more about their booking and cancellation policy.

Shops and catering

As of now, shops considered non-essential as well as bars and restaurants remain closed. Fair enough! You can still enjoy our restaurants’ savoury meals, for those offering take-away.
  • What about a raclette box ?
A complete set made with love for your raclette parties in your holiday chalet! The set includes already cooked potatoes, charcuterie, and of course, raclette cheese! If there is no device in your accommodation, remember that some shops and restaurants may leave one at your disposal.
  • Click and collect
Avoid queuing and limit risks of contact. Remember to order online or by phone, and redeem your order from the shop when it’s ready.
While you’re at it, discover our local products: cow’s or sheep’s milk cheese, Dévoluy lamb, herbal tea and essential oils made with wild plants, 100% merino wool.

The time will come when lockdown measures are lifted, and our shopkeepers will welcome you back, still maintaining preventive behaviours: wearing a compulsory face covering, limiting the number of people indoors, placing alcohol-based hand sanitizer at the entrance.

Childcare

You were expecting spending some quality time for yourself, chilling, without Oliver and Rosie under your feet every 5 minutes. But that was before coronavirus came along…
  • What to do with your sweet angels during daytime?
Don’t worry: nurseries remain open for your kids (aged 6 and under), just like ski lessons keep on running.
The same rules apply as those in use at school: temperature is taken in the morning, a kid showing signs of fever or sore throat should not be brought in.
While your children are welcomed in accordance with current health measures, we make sure the quality service we offer them remains our top priority.
Your job as a parent is as important as professionals’ regarding health regulations and recommendations. We’re counting on you!
  • Need baby gear?
You’d like to rent a pushchair or travel cot? Don’t worry: our rental outlets apply the same enhanced cleaning protocols for baby gear.
Did you know this? You can also rent a Nordic pushchair, so you can take a walk with your baby in the great outdoors, following the footpaths of the Nordic area!

Le Dévoluy is lucky enough to have a medical centre and a chemist’s that are open all-year-round, located in La Joue du Loup.
A doctor’s surgery is open in Superdévoluy in winter, to complete our health services offered during the high season.
The question is: which team are you? McDreamy’s or Dr. House’s?
