Saint Disdier
The northern entry point to Le Dévoluy massif, the village of Saint Disdier is situated 12 kilometres from the Route Napoléon and 10 kilometres from the resorts of Superdévoluy and La Joue du Loup.
The village of Saint Disdier is particularly proud of its Mère-Eglise Church, one of the oldest chapels in the Hautes-Alpes, which dates from the 11th century.
Built by Clusian monks, it offers an illustration of monastic life in a mountain environment. Every summer for the last 26 years, the Mère-Eglise Church rings out with the sound of concerts taking place as part of the "Musique en Dévoluy" Festival!
The village is situated around 10 kilometres from the resorts of Superdévoluy and La Joue du Loup.
Close by, you'll find a range of starting points for pedestrian hikes in the summer: 'Les énigmes de Clapucine' to enjoy as a family, the 'Sources des Gillardes', the 'Cannal de Pellafol", and the Les Gicons climbing site...
